INFRARED INFORMATION SYMPOSIA MEETING Meeting of the IRIS Specialty Group on Infrared Countermeasures, 13-15 April 1999, Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory, Laurel, MD. Meeting will cover sessions on: Threats (will update infrared, electro-optical, and laser threat systems information that may include threat seekers, sensors, countermeasures, lasers and related issues); Signatures and Suppression (includes weapon system EO/IR signatures and signature control); Warning and Detection (includes missile and laser threat warning and situational awareness); Self-Protection Decoys (will include advanced IR, UV, electro-optical and optical threats especiallty as they are used to protect new platforms); Active EO/IR Countermeasures (includes airborne, ship and ground-based countermeasures using active jamming sources); EO/IR Hardening/CCM (development and characterization of hardening and CCM techniques for Electro-Optic, Infrared and Night Vision (EO/IR/NV) systems); EC/IRCM Testing (will address EC/IRCM testing processes, facility and results).
