Popkin, Contracting Officer The National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to award a sole-source procurement to Image Interpretation Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Amarel, Fairport, New York for 1.25X Objective Lens (parfocal with 4X objective) to fit Cambridge Instrument's "Zoom 500" optics, which are installed in the "Richards" brand HFO-3 and HFO-4 Light tables. The authority for sole source procurement is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. This is a synopsis of intent to award a firm fixed price contract with Image Interpretation Systems, Inc. and no solicitation shall be issued.
