The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, RI, intends to solicit proposals for the fabrication, testing, and delivery of 2 each complete First Article (prototype) CW-1181C and CW-1181B domes with baseplates and associated hardware. First Year production quantity for the CW-1181C domes with baseplates and associated hardware will be up to a maximum of 30 each baseplates and hardware. If First Article is waived, the First Year production quantity for the CW-1181C domes, baseplates and hardware will include 2 additional production units. First Year production quantity for the CW-1181B domes, baseplates and hardware will be up to a maximum of 10 each; 12 each, if First Article is waived. Second, third, fourth and fifth year production quantity for the CW-1181C domes, baseplates and hardware will be up to a maximum of 30 each; CW-1181B domes with baseplates and hardware will be up to a maximum of 10 each. An IDIQ contract with FFP provisions is anticipated. Award will be made on the basisof Best Value. Evaluation factors are Technical Approach, Management Approach, Facilities, Past Performance, and Price. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted. Drawings for the CW-1181 Dome are in hardcopy for $400 per set and in electronic media for $280 per set. These drawings are strictly for informational purposes only. SIC Code is 3821.
