Under PL 98-369 (CICA), this sources sought market survey is seeking to identify potential suppliers for the USMC's planned Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) of its fleet of Light Armored Vehicles (LAVs). The objective of this program is to install various improvements and upgrades in the 745 unit LAV fleet required to extend the service life of the vehicles to 2015, to increase, readiness, and to reduce maintenance and life cycle cost.
