referenced below, is now available for download at
http://procnet.pica.army.mil All quotations must be received by the
offer due date of 9/28/98. The solicitation number is corrected to read
DAAE30-98-Q-1144, and is interchangable with DAAE30-98-Q-1114.
Therefore no bid time extension is given. Requirement for Cap, Blasting
Non-Electric 70 Foot Shock Tube, With Initiator, M15 (Inert). The M15
Inert shall consist of a 70-foot length of inert shock tube. On one end
shall be a factory- installed inert #12 commercial blasting cap and
with an inert 25ms delay packaged into a holder at the other end. The
holder shall have the capability of holding a range of one to five
shock tube lines. The M15 Inert shall be coiled in a figure 8 or 80
configuration. The inert blasting cap shall have through holes such
that it is see through from one side to the other in final assembly. No
filler is allowed in the blasting cap. It is estimated that a quantity
of 5,000 M15 Inert will be procured. The M15 Inert shall be packaged
in quantity of 60 items per box. Use of commercial packaging for the
M15 (live) is acceptable for this effort. At least 2 items each of the
M15 Inert in its commercial packaging will be required with the RFQ
response for evaluation. Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available
