solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of
FAR 6.302-1 for data processing services to include: data processing of
OCLC records for nine (9) libraries including extraction, merge, dedup,
authority control of approximate 50k records; retroconversion of
remaining shelflists for nine (9) libraries (est. 22k titles); Marc
Export webform to convey local records to constable associates for
processing; and random bar code labels. FOB is destination. This Notice
of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all
proposals received within seven (7) days after publication of this
synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested parties may
identify their interest and capability by submitting literature,
detailing how their product/service meets the above requirements, to
the Contracting Officer or by fax to 706-731-7172. A determination by
the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses
to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. VAMC
