The services to be performed are to provide technical and project management support in the design, engineering, integration, equipment acquisition, installation, implementation, training, and maintenance of the DDD Red River Distance Learning Satellite Downlink Facility. The DDD Red River Distance Learning Satellite Downlink Facility is part of the DLA Distance Learning Network (DDLN). GE Spacenet is the sole provider of the FTS2000 Wideband Video Transmission Service (WVTS) Digital Satellite Compression Feature (DSCF)available only to the Federal Government and DoD Agencies. An integral part of this service is the Conditional Access Management System (CAMS) which is proprietary code owned, operated, and licensed by GE Spacenet.
