Prnka, 254-774-1777 The Cadrock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center has been tasked to make electromagnetic measurements on the Carnival Cruise Liner Paradise. This ship has a newly designed propulsion system which has certain interests to the U S Navy. Services required will include engineering preparation, product operation and final data analysis for the sea trial measurements. A contract will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine as this firm has developed a mechanism for collecting and recording the high voltage/current for this particular vessel. Bath Iron Works has also been solely approved by the cruise line company to perform this operation.
