Prnka, 254-774-1777 The Cadrock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center
has been tasked to make electromagnetic measurements on the Carnival
Cruise Liner Paradise. This ship has a newly designed propulsion system
which has certain interests to the U S Navy. Services required will
include engineering preparation, product operation and final data
analysis for the sea trial measurements. A contract will be negotiated
on a sole source basis with Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine as this firm
has developed a mechanism for collecting and recording the high
voltage/current for this particular vessel. Bath Iron Works has also
been solely approved by the cruise line company to perform this
operation. These services are being provided in support of the
Southeast Regional Cooperative Administrative Support Unit, Panama
