The Office of the Product Manager for Mortars is seeking sources having the capability to produce aluminum M29 Fins for the 81mm XM816 Infrared Illumination Mortar Cartridge. The contract quantity is for approximately 10,400 fins with the option for 10,400 more. Initial delivery will commence seven to nine months after contract award. Capability must include experience and facilities for fabrication and inspection of metal parts of similiar complexity. Respondents must address their ability to manufacture to the following tight M29 fin tolerances: cant angle, blade thickness, leading edge radius, straightness of fin blade and control of true position. Product drawings are available from the Contract Officer. Provide descriptive literature to substantiate your ability to achieve all of the above requirements.
