This will be a small business set aside which the US Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Facilities and Administration Services Staff (FASS), intends to issue an IFB for either the removal and replacement, or repairing, of roofs for up to six buildings located at the US Border Patrol Academy in Charleston, South Carolina. Contractor shall supply all equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and personnel necessary for complete removal and demolition of existing roofing, flashings, gutters, down spouts, and roofing accessories and to furnish and install new roofing systems for the buildings. The dimensions of the work areas range from 1,850 to 16,820 square feet. Contract work shall have minimum impact to the operations of the existing facility. Work on all buildings may be worked on simultaneously, providing adequate supervision is provided for the separate work sites. The required roofing materials will be a 2-Ply SBS Modified Bitumen Roofing System. Award will only be made to one companyunder this IFB. The estimated magnitude of this project is $250,000 to $500,000. The SIC code is 1761.
