engine transducers and sensors, processes the information according to
the logic contained in its memory microcircuits, then provides outputs
to different engine control devices such as solenoids and EHVs, as well
as provides diagnostics and instrumentation signals to the EDU and
airframe. Government-furnished drawings are not available. To be
eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The
Government is not required to delay contract award pending Source
Approval Requests (SARs). Offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as
soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR
when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the Source
will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. The
approximate solicitation issue date is 2 Oct 98. To: United

available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and
