This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number RFQ 557-20-98 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using simplified acquisition procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. This procurement is a small business set aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 5211, Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. (1) Operator, Door, Horton 4100 LE, to include power supply and necessary sensors to interface with "Total" double egress doors -- 44 ea. The contractor shall deliver items FOB destination by October 30, 1998, to Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Attn: Warehouse, 1826 Veterans Blvd., Dublin, GA 31021.
