This is considered to be a sole source because the current PACS is AGFA equipment and the new equipment must be integrated with the existing AGFA hardware and software. It is critical to have a single contractor responsible for ensuring that all hardware and software, both current and new, work togetherr as an integrated system and for resolving any and all problems with the system.
