The Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, Virginia intends to acquire Base Maintenance Services for the U. S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The work functions are as follows: pavement marking, custodial services, shuttle bus services, refuse collection, pest control, grounds maintenance, elevator services, air conditioning services, fire protection, transportation operations and maintenance, waste water treatment, bilge and oily water treatment system, family housing, combined bachelor quarters, hazardous waste services and contract quality control. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, parts, supplies, transportation, scheduling, reporting and record functions required to perform Base Maintenance Services. This is a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity type contract for a base period of one year with options to extend, total duration not to exceed sixty (60) months.
