soliciting quotes for restoration of the Indian Tom Trail, #3119. This
project consists of trail restoration of 2,594 meters and 2,586 meters
of new trail construction of horse/hike including clearing and
grubbing, excavation, switchbacks, solid rock construction, water bars
and some ditching. This trail has trail grades up to and including 30%
for short distances. NOrmal trail excavation equipment may or may not
be able to traverse this steep of grade. This project is located
outside the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness, Asotin County, Washington,
Pomeroy Ranger District. Anticipated start work date is June 1, 1999
