The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to procure, via a firm fixed-price, sole-source purchase order with ISEC, Inc. of 6770 Oak Hill Lane, Suite 117, Columbia, MD 21045 laboratory casework manufactured by Fisher Hamilton, Stanley Vidmar, and TMI. The Government intends to solicit one source under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), "Only one responsible source" because ISEC, Inc., as the current supplier and installer of laboratory casework for the NIST Advanced Chemical Sciences Lab (ACSL), is responsible for coordinating the supply of laboratory casework to ensure schedule compliance for the occupancy of the NIST ACSL. ISEC, Inc. is familiar with the ACSL project, represents all three manufacturers (Stanley Vidmar, Fisher Hamilton, and TMI), and is familiar with the specifications, drawings, design and installation of the ACSL laboratory casework. Since the ACSL laboratory casework has "non-standard" requirements (such as metric casework components) specific to the ACSLproject, it is necessary, from a compatibility standpoint that the same products and supplier be used for the modifications needed under this acquisition. This project will require the vendor to provide applicable submittals for review and approval. Items to be supplied by Fisher Hamilton include: Model 163S4320, 2 each; Model 103S4320, 3 each; Model 164S6320, 1 each; Model 200S8320, 1 each; Model 139S2220, 3 each; Model 133S4220, 2 each; Model 531M1220, 2 each; Model 616S6320, 2 each; Model 616S0320, 1 each; Model 712S6560, 3 each; Model 712S8560, 3 each; Model 700S6560, 2 each; Model 806S692L, 2 each; Model 806S892L, 6 each; Model 540M362, 1 each; and Model 540M362, 3 each. Items to be supplied by Stanley Vidmar include: 600mm Small Parts Cabinet, 1 each; and 750mm Small Parts Cabinet, 3 each.
