The MACCOR 4000 is the choice of equipment for compatibility reasons. It will be used for the completion of projects carried out under the TPA agreement with CECOM RDEC. It is the intent of the government to award this contract to MACCOR Inc., 2805 West 40th Street, Tulsa, OK 74107, on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Extensive market research has demonstrated that MACCOR Inc. is the manufacturer and sole Distributor of the Model 4000 Customized Battery Cycler. Interested persons and/or responsible businesses that recognize and can produce the MACCOR 4000 Customized Battery Cycler are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification and provide supporting evidence to the contracting officer within fifteen (15) calendar days, after publication of this synopsis. The final determination by the government not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the government.
