The video should focus on the story of patented inventions by those inventors who have been inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF). The Video should be directed towards students in grades K-12, educators, and the general public, and stress the importance of our intellectual property system and emphasize how patents have played a pivotal role in shaping the United States and the economy. The NIHF was established in 1973 and is located in Akron, Ohio at Inventure Place. The resultant contractor shall provide services to write a script, shoot, narrate and edit the video and work closely with the director of the Office of Public Affairs and his technical advisors. The PTO will supply the contractor with two resources to aid in creating the video, "The 1997 national Inventors Hall of Fame Black Book, 25th Anniversary Edition" and "The Fire of Genius" video.
