This presolicitation notice amends Submission No. 240934 previously submitted on 082498. The National Ground Intelligence Center intends to procure on a Sole Source Basis from Practical Imagineering the following items: 1)DASH-FFT-2, FFT PROCESSOR; 2)DASH-SPECT-2, SPECTRAL PROCESSOR MODULE; 3)SYSTEM INTEGRATION AND TEST. System integration utilizes proprietary software developed by Practical Imagineering. This equipment is specially designed to address a specific and unique problem which cannot be resolved with off-the-shelf equipment. Interested vendors are invited to submit a response, within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, which must include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the above requirements. No solicitation document exists, however, all responses from vendors demonstrating their capabilities will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to all firms that are found responsive to the requirements of this notice or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
