This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is the only notice that will be issued. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Proposal (RFP) N00164-98-R-0158 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 9-11. The Standard Industrial Classification for this procurement is 5043 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded for this requirement. The following item is being procured: CLIN 0001 Digital Engineering Copier, C4 Imaging System Part No. 6807 or equal, a quantity of 1 each, in accordance with the attached Specifications. Delivery shall be F.O. B. Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. by 30 September 1998. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination. For purposes of the Prompt Payment Act, the Government will inspect and accept or reject supplies within 30 days after receipt at destination. The Government's request Standard Commercial Warranty. The provisions a FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, apply to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a complete copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer.
