The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), AMSTA-AR-PC-B, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, 07806-5000, intends to use alpha contracting with United Defense-Limited Partnership (UDLP). The solicitation and award will be for engineering services to support current M109A6 Howitzers with a task order contract for three years. UDLP shall furnish the personnel, facilities, supplies and services necessary to support production and fielding of the M109A6 Paladin 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer with Engineering, Configuration Management, Integrated Logistics Support, Quality Assurance, Standardization and related activities. The Systems Technical Support (STS) includes vehicle maintenance upgrades, publication of technical manuals, performance of engineering work directives and production engineering studies for the U.S. Army. (The contract will also provide the necessary services for fielding and Foreign Military Sales.)
