NORTON (256) 235-6629 (Site Code DAAC01) One year maintenance contract for unlimited on-call emergency repairs and annual inspection/alignment for the Government owned Ingersoll Gantry Machining Center located at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama for the period 01 Oct 98 through 30 Sept 99. This will be purchased as sole source from Ingersoll in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Ingersoll Milling Machine Company is the OEM and the only source capable of providing the required services. The computer systems, hardware design, wiring diagrams, special tools and alignment fixtures are proprietary to Ingersoll. Ingersoll is the only company equipped with the Data Acquisition System (DAS) which was designed specially for alignment certifications for this type of machine tooling. The DAS was designed and developed by Ingersoll and is proprietary to their company. Firms that recognize and can provide the required services are encourage to identify themselves within 15 days from the date of this publication, and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer which would permit their participation in future solicitations.
