The site work includes underground utilities, grading, roads, sidewalks, etc. at the Mississippi Job Corps in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. The period of performance from NTP to substantial completion is 336 days (48 weeks). The estimated cost range of construction is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The bid deposit must be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or money order and made payable to the U.S. Department of Labor, and submitted to Billes Manning Architects at the time of request. All requests will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, a non-refundable fee not to exceed the actual cost of reproduction of the IFB documents (to be determined by the Contracting Officer) plus a shipping charge based on individual requests (if applicable) will be required in order to obtain the IFB documents. A Pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled for October 8, 1998, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Bid opening date is October 22, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. local time. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Acquisition.
