the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the National Park Service (NPS) intends
to enter into a non-competitive contract to purchase system
enhancements as well as new scanner equipment for Seasonal Employment
Program (SEP) processing operations. The Seasonal Employment Unit is
responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of the SEP system
to recruit and hire significant numbers of short term help to staff
many of the nation's 367 National Parks. The current system was
developed in 1989 and revised in 1995 by InterNet Technologies, Inc.
Programming costs for this requirement by any other contractor would
jeopardize the continuity of services already provided. Therefore, IAW
authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the
Government intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive
basis with InterNet Technologies, Inc. within 30 days after the
publication of this notice. However, all information received by this
agency shall be considered. A determination not to open therequirement
to competition based on responses received to this notice is solely
within the discretion of the agency. This sysnopsis may represent the
