Interested concerns having the ability to provide residential contract secure juvenile facility services for male and female Juvenile Federal offenders in the Southern District of Indiana are requested to give written notification (including complete name and address, telephone number and contact person) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. Services required for juveniles include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work, "Contract Secure Juvenile Facility" dated March 6, 1998. No operational hotel/motel will be considered as a facility for this requirement. Estimated number of male and female inmate days is 2,100 per year for the one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The estimated Request for Proposals (RFP) issue date is October 8, 1998. The estimated RFP closing date is December 11, 1998. The contract base period is one year (October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000) with four one year option periods to renew. An Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinate-Quantity type contract is anticipated.
