spalmer@comdt.uscg.mil. 17. The U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement for
Technical Assistance, Process Evaluation, and Systems Engineering
services in support of information technology and command, control,
communications, and computer (C4) projects and activities. An
Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract type with task orders
on a time and materials or firm-fixed price basis is anticipated. The
contract will consist of a base period and four one-year option
periods. Support services functional areas include: Business Process
Reengineering, Systems Life Cycle Management, Software Engineering,
IV&V, Network, Strategic Planning, Program Assessment and studies, and
Systems Engineering activities. This is a 100 percent small business
set-aside. Proposals will be solicited from eligible small businesses.
The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7379 and the size
standard is $18 million. Requests for Proposals (RFP) will not be
forwarded, accepted, or received via fax. All request for the RFP must
be submitted inwriting to the attention of Cheryl Rice. Cite the RFP
number on your written request. The 10/21/98 proposal due date is based
on an assumed RFP issuance date of 09/14/98. Attention: Minority,
Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The U.S.
Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP)
offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to
finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
