THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. SOLICITATION NUMBER RFQ 544-073-98 IS ISSUED AS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. The WJBD Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Columbia, SC intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with Codemaster, 10 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 1510, Chicago, IL 60606 for the following: (1) Perpetual license (needed for 18 workstations) Windows Software, Codemaster SoftwareSystem consisting of: Codemaster Plus 32, Coder's Bookshelf, CPT Master and ICD-9-CM/CPT Master and ICD-9-CM/CPT Crosswalk, Real Time Interface to DHCP, PC Anywhere Telecommunications Software, Sybase SQL Anywhere Database Software -- 1 ea. (2) On-Site Training and Installation plus Travel Expense -- 1 ea. The Contractor shall deliver all items FOB Origin to WJBD Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Information Resource Management Service (IRM), Building 100, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209-1639, by September 30, 1998.
