Murtagh Contracting Officer CBD Announcement Dated 26 August 1998 Is Revised As Follows: The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to procure Enzyme Bio-Remediating Parts Washers: American Bio-Clean Pro-Wash P/N 55FH001 (Or Equal) and American Bio-Clean Pro-Wash P/N 40FH001 (Or Equal). The required basic quantity is for 10 each 55-gallon models, and 1 each 40-gallon model. Included with the basic quantity are requirements to provide Technical Safety Data Sheets and Material Safety Data Sheets. An option for up to an additional 20 more of the 55-gallon units shall also be included in the solicitation. American Bio-Clean Pro-Wash P/N 55FH001 (or equal) uses a neutral to alkaline water-based mixture of emulsifiers, surface active agents, and microbes, containing no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), phosphates, formaldehydes, biocides, or solvents for degreasing and oil dispersion on small parts. With the combination of the filtration device and the microbes, the cleaning solution shall not require removal and replacement under normal operation. Specifically, the unit shall be used for remediation of oils, solvents, greases, ethylene glycol, and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Facility Interface Requirements include overall dimensions of 61" Length x 45" Wide x 80" High (+1/-1); power requirements of 120V, 60Hz; and the inclusion of installation drawings and instructions with the units. The minimum requirements (High Pressure Configuration) include a work area of 44" Long x 24" Wide x 18" High (+1/-0); a maximum weight when empty of 365 lbs.; a maximum weight when full of 685 lbs.; a reservoir capacity of 55 gallons (+3/-0); a minimum pump capacity of HP; a minimum flowrate of 60 GPM; and a blast pressure of 40 psi (+3/-0). The delivery of the basic quantity will be NLT 60 days after contract award. Any option quantities, if exercised, shall be delivered 30 days after the option is invoked.
