28 -- F110-GE-100B PROPULSION ENGINES SOL n/a POC Mike McManus, Contracting Officer/Grisselle Nusimow, Buyer, (937) 255-2619x3014 Aeronautical Systems Center Propulsion Development System Office (ASC/LP), plans to place an order for up to three (3) F110-GE-100B spares against the existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract awarded to General Electric on 13 Apr 94. This Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract covers users' requirements of fighter system platforms for both domestic and Foreign Military Sales. Orders were planned in the basic contract. The current acquisition encompasses combat aircraft production engines, and warranty as specified for the F110-GE-100B by the contract line item numbers 0078 and 0094. The required engines are fully developed, qualified and have demonstrated the capability to support the missions of users for DoD fighter aircraft currently utilizing the F110-GE-100B engine. The contractor is authorized to receive and store classified material up to and including Secret classification. The contractor receiving this award is classified as a large business.
