The VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS) (Buffalo) intends to negotiate with Diagnostic Imaging located at 250 Cooper Avenue, Tonawanda, NY 14150, for a full service maintenance and repair agreement of the Cardiac Cath Lab. System includes Philips table, Philips overhead crane, gamtronics digital acquisition imager, Arritechno Camera Cine. Two (2) PMs. are required per year. The first due October 1, 1998 and the second due April 1, 1999. Service hours are Monday -- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Service engineers maintaining this system must be certified and either (1) have certification on file with the Biomed Section of the VAWNYHS, OR, (2) be able to provide certification prior to award. EXCLUSIONS: All glassware, x-ray tubes, image intensifiers, CRTs, and camera tubes are exempt, as well as damaged parts due to neglect. Qualified companies capable of providing these services should submit a complete package detailing experience, qualifications, availability and delivery time of new parts, and cost prior to September 21, 1998.
