The Defense Supply Service-Washington, solicits for full service maintenance including parts, labor for USA CMD INFO UNIT Soldiers Radio and TV for the period of 01 Oct 1998 through 30 Sep 2003 (base yr + 4 Option yrs). Contractor shall have at least one factory trained technician available for maintenance on SONY BETACAM AND BETACAM SP video cameras, dockable recorders, editors, switches, Ampex Betacam, Ace editors, Alex character generators, AVID editing systems, SONY, JVC, TEKTRONICS, SIGMA VIDEOTEK test and monitoring equipment, COLORTRAN automated studio lighting system required for proper maintenance and minimal down time that may occur. The contractor shall maintain a full time, staffed service and spare parts facility within a 40 mile radius where the equipment is to be serviced, installed and operated.
