This solicitation is for the First Open Season issuance of Federal Supply Schedule 25, Part I, Section A -- Vehicular Equipment and Accessories. The solicitation is for a Multiple Award Schedules 5 year period (3 years remaining) with a one time option to extend any contract(s) awarded an additional 5 years. This first open season is amended to incorporate three (3) new Special Item Numbers (SINs): 025-101 Mirrors and Assemblies, 025-102 Bed Liners, 025-103 Tarps/Cargo Covers, 025-104 Hoist/Tow Hooks, 025-105 Tool Boxes, 025-106 Mud Flaps, 025-107 Car/Van Locks (remote control and/or deadbolt), 025-108 Vehicle Security Systems, 025-109 Law Enforcement Vehicles Emergency Notification System (sirens, pa systems, etc.), 025-110 Internal/External Emergency Vehicle Shields or Barriers (for canine separation or criminal protection), 025-111 Electric Lights and Fixtures for all vehicles, 025-112 Variable equipment for service vehicles (for the interior part of the van to organize supplies), 025-113 New Technologies (any items not mentioned here or found on other GSA contracts), 025-114 Commercial Vehicle Washers (to clean vehicles), 025-115 Mounted Video Equipment for Vehicles (for surveillance, monitoring, etc.), 025-116 Vehicle Window or Mirror Treatments (such as heating elements, anti-glare treatments, etc.), 025-117 Interior/Exterior Vehicle attachments/accessories for convenience (cup holders, mini-vacuums, sun visors etc.). This solicitation is non-mandatory indefinite quantity indefinite delivery type contract/worldwide multiple award schedule to provide for delivery to overseas customers. Overseas coverage, by the contractor is optional. Contractors may offer domestic and overseas coverage, domestic coverage only or overseas coverage only. Federal Supply Classes are 2540and 2590. Contract effective dates are April 1, 1999 or date of award whichever is later through September 30, 2002.
