R -- ASSESS THE OPERATION OF THE 50 STATE OFFICES OF RURAL HEALTH GRANT PROGRAM SOL HRSA-98-OA-A112364 DUE 091098 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Richard Schmidt Associates, LTD., 5631 Knollwood Road, Bethesda, MD, 20816. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to conduct an assessment and evaluation of the operation of the 50 State Offices of the Rural Health Grant Program. The contractor shall develop a data collection and site visit plan; conduct the site visits; analyze the data; prepare reports on the assessment of state office performance; and incorporate the comments from state and Federal officials into a final report. Richard Schmidt Associates, LTD. is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is twelve months.
