THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. SOLICITATION NUMBER 53SBNB860154 IS BEING ISSUED AS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ) USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. The National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement for electrical components manufactured by the Allen-Bradley Division of Rockwell. Only the Allen-Bradley brand is acceptable due to the required components must be plug compatible with the existing cold source controls, which are the Allen-Bradley brand. The Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN), quantities, and unit issues are as follows: CLIN 0001, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC5) Model Number 1785 L40B, Qty. 1 each; CLIN 0002, I/O Chassis, Model 1771 A3B, Qty. 2 each; CLIN 0003, Power Supply, Model 1771 P4S, Qty. 2 each; CLIN 0004, Remote I/O Adapter, Model 1771 ASB, Qty. 1 each; CLIN 0005, Isolated DC Input Module, Model 1771 IL, Qty. 4 each; CLIN 0006, AC/DC Input Module, Model 1771 IAD, Qty. 3 each; CLIN 0007, AC/DC Output Module, Model 1771 OAD, Qty. 3 each; CLIN 0008, Thermocouple Input Module, Model 1771 IXE, Qty. 2 each; CLIN 0009, Relay Output Module, Model 1771 OW, Qty. 2 each; CLIN 0010, Warranty; and CLIN 0011, Manuals, The contractor shall provide all manuals and the Government has the right to reproduce the manuals for its use as necessary, and CLIN 0012, FOB Destination: The contractor shall pack and mark the shipment in conformance with carrier requirements, deliver the shipment in good order and condition to the point of delivery specified in the contract, be responsible for any loss of and/or damage to the goods occurring before receipt of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery point specified in the contract; and pay and bear all charges to the specified point of delivery. The contractor shall deliver all line items FOB Destination, to NIST, Building 301, Shipping and Receiving, Gaithersburg, MD 20899-0001. Required delivery time is 30 days after award. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Quotes shall include appropriate product information that clearly documents that the offered products are those listed above. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
