the removal of 5 existing wall/ceiling mounted centrifugal fans and
associated ductwork and the removal of 2 existing canopy hoods.
Replacement of 25 1x4, 2 bulb fluorescent lighting fixtures with 25 new
2x4 3 bulb, fluorescent lighting fixtures, with associated wiring, and
controls. Furnish and install 5 new centrifugal roof mounted exhaust
fans. Furnish and install new PVC coated galvanized steel circular
ductwork for new exhaust fans. Also furnish and install exhaust stacks
for new fans. The work will be performed at the U.S. Geological
Survey, Biological Resources Division, Environmental and Contaminants
Research Center, 4200 New Haven Road, Columbia, Missouri. The estimated
magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $50,000. This project
is part of the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is
not set aside exclusively for small business firms. SIC Code 1711.
