New refrigeration equipment shall consist of air cooled condensers and unit coolers with automatic defrost capabilities. Equipment to be replaced shall include unit coolers, compressors, condensers, controls etc in frozen food and medium temperature rooms. Replace existing freezer and cooler doors to these areas. New doors shall have defrost heaters. Work shall include provisions for demolition of refrigeration equipment in other areas served by the central compressors. Special requirements asbestos shall be required on some equipment to be replaced. Project is subject to the availability of funds. Estimated range for this project is $100,000 to $250,000. Pursuant to DFARS 219.1006(b)(2), this acquisition will be 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. For the purpose of determining small business size, SIC 1541 for this acquisition, the average annual receipts of a concerns and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $17 million.
