ADVANCED RANGE TELEMETRY (ARTM) SPECIAL SESSION The ARTM Program, sponsored by the DOD Central Test and Evaluation Investment Program, is conducting a Special Session at the 1998 International Telemetering Conference (ITC) in San Diego, CA. ARTM's goal is to address the future needs of telemetry users, suppliers and vendors in the development and application of more efficient and higher quality telemetry systems. The ARTM Special Session will be held at ITC/USA '98, visit their website at www.telemetry.org. All telemetry vendors, suppliers and users are welcome to attend. The purpose is to encourage continuing user and industry involvement in the formulation of the ARTM technical approach and acquisition strategy. The forum will facilitate interaction between participants and will include short briefings about status of advanced modulation, data compression, error coding and correction, frequency scheduling, channel characterization and other ARTM efforts.
