The solicitation is for the services of a subcontractor to demolish eleven (11) three story apartment buildings, a partially burned abandoned house and a storage barn, located at Chesapeake Village Apartments in Baltimore County, Maryland. The contractor will act as a subcontractor to Arco Management under its Prime Contract as Contractor Asset Manager for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the REO Service Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The Subcontractor will have to provide the work in accordance with labor rates published under Davis Bacon. Certified payrolls are required at the time of payment invoicing. This IFB is structured in accordance with the Uniform Contract Format required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). We estimate that the cost for this solicitation will exceed $500,000.
