540-653-4303 Code SD18 E-MAIL: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren
Division, chamberlainwg@nswc.navy.mil. The Naval Surface Warfare
Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia intends to purchase on a
sole source basis one each of the following system and accessories.
This is an AutoSystem XL Gas Chromatograph. The liquid autosampler must
have the capability of injecting into either injection port
automatically; i.e. no physical change required to switch the
autosampler. The operator must be able to change the injector septa
without removing the autosampler. The autosampler syringe must be
designed so that is not left over a heated injection port when not in
use. The operator must be able to make manual injections without having
to remove the autosampler. The carrier gas pneumatics must be able to
be programmed in pressure, flow or linear gas velocity. Programmable
detector pneumatics must provide direct setting in mL/min, Psig, or
kPa. All programmable pneumatics must compensate for variations in
ambient temperature. The system must have a sleep mode to conserve
carriergas by shutting off the carrier, detector & split vent gas
flows. The new data system must be able to read all existing data files
and methods from the existing data system. The data system must be able
to control & take data from the gas chromatograph as well as take date
or control the existing PE AutoSystem GC. The system must run under
Windows NT. The software must be expandable to collect data from up to
8 instruments. The Nitrogen Phosphorus Detector must be of a modular
design. The Flame Ionization Detector should not require makeup gas for
operation with narrow bore capillary columns. Gas chromatograph must be
serviced on site. All interfaces must have buffered memory to allow up
to 99 chromatogram to be collected & stored even in the event of a
computer failure or hard disk crash; i.e. the interface must be
external of the computer. The System shall consist of one each of the
following: (1) P/N N6119100 AutoSystem GC,(2) P/N N0207263 Installation
