The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) intends to renew the subscription for LEXIS/NEXIS automated retrieval services with LEXIS/NEXIS under the Library of Congress' FEDLINK Basic Ordering Agreement for FY 99. This subscription is for online electronic retrieval from databases which gives full text access to legal information (LEXIS) and news from over 140 national and international publications and wire services (NEXIS). The service period will be from October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999. All responsible sources may respond, and interested vendors offering identical or equivalent services must identify their interest and fully document their capability to meet the agency's requirements by forwarding a detailed response within thirty (30) days of this notice. All requests must be in writing and include company name, telephone number, GSA contract number if applicable and itemized prices. All responses must be in writing to the following address, Attn: Mary Anne Wright, and reference ECFO-99-0001. No telephone responses will be honored. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. If no affirmative written responses are received within thirty (30) calendar days after the publication of this synopsis to the effect that a comparable source is available, or is more advantageous to the Government, a delivery order will be placed against the InterAgency Agreement with the Library for services with LEXIS/NEXIS will be awarded.
