The work covered by this specification consists of furnishing all services necessary, including hand planting equipment and materials, and performing all operations in connection with hand planting government furnished pine seedlings. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with this specification and the terms and conditions of the contract. In general, the work shall consist of hand planting approximately 3,791 acres in 50 separate areas with containerized longleaf pine seedlings. Location of the work is on Eglin Air Force Base Reservation, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The period of performance will be from 1 November 1998 to 1 January 1999. This requirement is reserved as a 100% small business set-aside. Businesses must have had an average annual gross receipts of $5.0 M or less for the last three years to qualify as small businesses as defined by the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 0851, Forestry Services.
