Bechtel Nevada is seeking sources to manufacture, furnishing, delivery, and testing of 145kV circuit breakers and accessories for installation at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Nevada Test Site (NTS). The circuit breakers and accessories shall be in accordance with the specifications and supplements: ANSI, NEMA,ASTM, AISC, and IEEE standards and the latest revisions to these standards insofar as consistent with the specifications. Included in the scope of the specification are: 1. Dead tank SF6 circuit breakers; 2. SF6 for initial filling; 3. Bushing current transformers; 4. Special tools necessary for installation, testing and maintenance; 5. Necessary drawings, instructions, and test reports. Any Vendor being selected for an award must go through a Quality Assurance Evaluation.
