Krutz, Contracting Officer, (601) 686-5361 The U.S. Department of Agriculture intends to procure a 16 Narrow Row, No-Till Planter. This 16 row planter will be used for research and it is essential that the planter will plant with precision seed spacing and dept control. The planter units must be placed on a single toll bar rather than tandem tool bars to facilitate easier establishment of field plots. The planter must also have stainless steel planter plates, 10" spacing on a 3 point mounted toolbar, and vacuum control at the seed meter. Delivery of the planter must be on or before November 1, 1998 and arrive in field ready condition. An IFB will be issued on or about August 31, 1998.
