The 89th Contracting Squadron at Andrews AFB intends to issue and post on the Internet (http://www.andrews.af.mil/89lg/89cons/biz-service.htm) a solicitation, on or about 5 Oct 98 for Protective Service and Anti-Terrorism Training. Contractor to provide firing range, shooting range, and driving range for hands on instruction. Contractor to provide all personnel, facilities, equipment, tools, transportation, other items and services necessary to provide both hands on and classroom instruction. Training conducted must be current and up-to-date. Proposals will be evaluated on the following factors: the quality of training; past performances; quality of instructors; adequacy of security facility; adequacy of the shoot house; firing range; adequacy of driving range; quality of lesson plans; the number of, condition of, and quality of the training vehicles; evidence of prompt repair of vehicles; quality of surveillance detection; and quality of route analysis instruction. The SIC Code is 8299. Business sizemust be included with your written request for a copy of the solicitation. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. Only written request for a copy of the solicitation will be honored and only one copy per firm.
