The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) recently purchased from DK Systems, Inc a proprietary software product named "On Track for Training". The purpose of this product (application) is to provide INS an automated mechanism for tracking and reporting training received by the INS employees and contractor personnel under contract to INS. The application is presently being pilot tested. The product was procured with a 30 user license. It allows the data base to be segmented into three separate data bases. It is the intent of INS to deploy this application to approximately 60 field offices. In order to provide adequate access to the On Track for Training product, an addition 60 user license will be acquired, expanding the total number of licenses to 90. To restrict field office personnel to viewing and updating their own data, an additional 60 data base seqments are being acquired. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT.
