The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) #FBICU9826, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-6. This purchase is being done on a sole source basis because through market research on the Internet no other source for such detectors could be found.
