The project includes but is not limited to, demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping and irrigation. Work also includes concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, steel structure, steel joists and decking, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glass storefront system, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, sectional overhead doors, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers, loading dock equipment, fire protection and detection systems, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning complete and ready for use, in accordance with plans and specifications. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority Owned, and Woman-Owned Business. The contractor shall subcontract with minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% of the total value of its subcontracts. Offeror must include documentation from the offeror's bonding agent indicating the offeror's bond capability, at the time offer is due. Performance bonds in the amount of 100% and Payment bonds in the amount of 50% will be required from the successful offeror within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award. Offers will be received in this office, prior to, but not later than 3:30 p.m. on September 20, 1998.
