The Bureau of the Public Debt intends to issue a commercial item solicitation for mail processing services in San Antonio, Texas for customer agencies of Franchise Business Activity (FBA) San Antonio Cooperative Administration Support Unit (CASU). The resulting contract will provide various consolidated mail functions. The services may include one or more of the following: delivery point barcode, combine and presort of First and Periodic Class Mail, metering of non-qualifying First, Standard, and Periodic Class, certified/registered mail, and First and Periodic Class Bulk Rate Permit mail. All work under this contract shall be performed within the San Antonio, Texas area. BPD is planning to award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract with firm-fixed price task orders. The period of performance of these contracts will be for a base period of one year with four one-year option periods.
