The Joint Strike Fighter Program Office intends to modify the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Concept Development Program (CDP) Contracts Nos. N00019-97-C-0037 and N00019-97-C-0038, which were competitively awarded to The Boeing Company, Information, Space & Defense Systems, P.O. Box 3707, Mail Stop 4C-80, Seattle, WA 98124-2207 and Lockheed Martin Corporation, Tactical Aircraft Systems, P.O. Box 748, Fort Worth, TX 76101, respectively. These modifications will require the CDP contractors to pursue risk reduction in critical technology areas that support the development of a cost-effective training concept for their JSF design.
