This is considered to be a sole source because it is the only system that offers four different dye technology. Using four fluorescent dyes per template reduces the lanes used per sample from 4 to 1. This fourfold increase in capacity per gel allows multiple users on a single gel run. Other sources who believe they can supply the same or equal equipment must furnish product information to this office by no later than 4:30PM on Aug 31, 1998.
